He took over from Dauglish's Liverpool side which was winning cups left, right and centre and decided to sign bit-part players from other clubs who were more than happy to off-load them. Micheal Thomas! Michael F'N Thomas! GO HOME SOUNESS, YOU'VE FAILED IN EVERY POSSIBLE MANAGERIAL JOB YOU'VE HAD IN ENGLAND.
If it wasn't for his success in the inferior leagues of Turkey and Scotland then this troutface fuck would be on the dole quicker than Thomas Brolin.
And this is when I'm being nice about him... (he was a pretty awesome player back in his youth)
