Quashie's story didnt even make sense. He said he was taken to one side and told he was being sold and that he really wanted to stay, then he said that Zajec told him he didn't want to sell him because he was one of our best players.

Zajec was caretaker manager and is in charge of transfers, why would he say he didn't want to sell him and that he was our best player...and then go and sell him? Also, by all accounts he was a cockey shit who no one liked in the changing rooms (thats what Alexei Smertin said in an interview in the Observer pretty much)

Quashie was on £8,000 a week here which is more or less what he deserved. He demanded more money, Milan called his bluff and off he went to Southampton where they were not only stupid enough to give us an over inflated fee for him, but also give him stupidly over the top wages and apparently a £250,000 release clause if they got relegated.

Then Quashie is constantly in the papers after he's moved going on about how his wife and daughter had to move to Nottingham because they were scared they were going to get killed by Pompey fans
