Joel Glazer is hardly being "dumb" by requesting a director's box. He will probably be over-seeing the running of the club, so he should be a visual presence there. He'll be fairly safe. DO you really think some jobless dickhead Man U fan will be able to get near a multi-millionaire who probably has the best security money can buy as a matter of course?

The vast, vast majority of fans are ordinary people with families, who cannot afford to get themselves arrested over some stupid, meaningless crusade over a football club they lost to the corporate world years ago.
I don't think one jobless dickhead could, no. I imagine a few people could though. And people feel like they have nothing to lose at this point. We made have been lost to the corporate world long ago, but there are still traditions to fight for, and nobody here is willing to accept a McTrafford, unlike other clubs. This is like trying to fix something that isn't broke by taking a hammer to it. I don't doubt for a minute Glazer knows how to make money, but when ticket prices are hiked to the point the working class fans can no long afford to watch us play, then it's not our club anymore. that's why people are still fighting for it. Not because we're going to be a shit team, but because of the traditions and those that died for the club.
