Maradona has tested positive for more than just cocaine in his time. He has, in fact, been found to be on performance enhancers or banned substances.

The fact that cocaine is a recreational drug and Mutu is undergoing rehab will rightly mitigate in his favour. I think a 6 month ban would be more than fair. Accepting his fate goes in his favour too.

Like I said, if Rio and Manchester United hadn't tried to make it a power issue with the FA, he could have had a 3 month ban and been back playing by Febuary 2004.
