No, it’s not them. They want Nakamura in the Dome getting all that positive attention. Nak has been allowed to tease the match. Sources say it’s been Tony.

WWE will still poach the New Japan deal. They’re probs watching AEW run things into the ground waiting. AEW tanked the second Dome show last year, killed Gabe Kidd’s momentum, fucked with the G1, their champion is being low-key rejected and I don’t think Okada is going to be accepted with open arms.

I get why Tony wouldn’t want it to happen, but it’s a further symptom of his botched business practices. Like holding talent hostage, being a snake behind the scenes is eventually going to blow up in his face.
