The first one is extremely overrated, in my opinion, and dull in a lot of stretches. Maybe they hadn't found their footing? The second one has the most interesting story and does a better job of being consistently funny throughout the whole run. I can only remember one moment from the other movies where I was legit busting a gut, and that was in the third.
