That very quickly became “Well when WWE does it it’s ok” when WWE has actually been called out on attendance lies forever. It actually seems to be a lot of people’s “gateway myth” that gets busted when they become a smart mark.

No one was surprised that Wembley “did well.” Wasn’t shocking to hear that Tony and scalpers bought up a lot of the tickets too. But what will be interesting is how their return business in the UK does. I can see a second show doing alright because “there’s no way the second one would also suck…right?” Third one? Nah.

But it was an interesting comparison Cornette and Last drew between AEW’s attendance and WCCW’s. This shit is dropping off FAST, but for some reason it isn’t a story nor is it going to be linked to any malpractice by Tony Khan or AEW themselves.
