That has been their business model, they drop prices the closer the actual show. Then Tiny buys the remaining tickets so he can say AEW sold X amount of tickets. Vince just would say he sold more, Tiny actually spends his dads money so he is not technically lying. Wembley showed exactly that, tons of empty seats, large sections tarped off, but technically they sold 81,000 tickets because Tiny has a Credit Card attached to his dad's account.

If Shad's money was not earned legally, Tiny would be convicted of money laundering. If AEW was a publicly traded company, Tiny would be convicted of fraud. Since neither is the case, he can do what he is doing and the only consequence is he gets to feel like he is running a profitable business.
