I can’t believe how many people on the internet think it’s okay for wrestlers to go ON TELEVISION and try and piss all over AEW’s business. Adam Page did it, Jack Perry did it. This is the biggest no-no. Getting into a fight backstage can be sorted out however you want to, but when you go in front of your audience and air this shit, there needs to be consequences.
It seems AEW’s stupider talent also overlook how important CM Punk is to their business scheme, while they are expendable. Tony needs Collision to work and he needs Punk to make that happen. It’s more pissing on your own leg. Talent that don’t get it need to either be smartened up or released.
The fight itself has numerous angles coming out about it. The closest thing to a trusted Punk side says that Punk confronted Jungle Boy, asked if he’s got something to say, Jack dared Punk to do something about it, Punk shoved him, Jack got heated and Punk neutralized him. He then removed himself from the building and ordered Nando’s for his friends.
There’s also a hilarious story about how inept Punk’s travel arrangements were.
I seriously don’t know how Punk puts up with that place. Yes, they pay him a lot of money. But the lack of control Tony has the amount of air a mark attitude in the locker room gets is pretty surreal.

It appears that guy whose job it was to set up Punk's arrangements is one of the Bucks' boys, and also liked some anti-Punk Xs or whatever.
