Best work I’ve seen out of Buddy, easily. Smart to sell the leg. It played into the finish and began to tease that there’s a babyface in the guy so he can turn and feud with Malakai Black and have that string of matches in AEW.

The finish with the Figure Eight was clever to pop the crowd. Felt a bit like Kurt Angle grapevining the leg in the Ankle Lock. And again, it played off the actual story injury.
