* Sony announced that they are currently in the process of purchasing Firewalk Studios for an undisclosed amount of money. As part of this purchase, Firewalk Studios will be separating from their current publisher ProbablyMonsters.

* Atari announced that they have recently re-acquired around 100 games from their past library from Accolade, Infogrames, and Microprose. While the full list of games was not revealed, it was announced to contain Bubsy, Hardball, 1942: Pacific Air War, F-117A, Demolition Racer series, and F-14 air combat series.
