That’s it. There’s no reason for this to be shooting out this much steam. It’s less Memphis and way closer to “_____ on a pole.” Hook and Stokely having a “feud” is no inherent reason enough to blow things up with a gimmick match.

Hook should probably still be at the point where he is wrestling a member of The Firm. If Stokely is going to be the guy getting heat then he should be helping his clients get wins over Hook so that Hook has obstacles to overcome and the payoff can be the match with Stokely.
