I didn't find the first one particularly gripping, but it had the kind of aesthetic I tend to dig, so when the second game was featured in a Game Informer issue I checked out what it was going to be about and it sounded cool, being able to play as Death and all. I just never got around to buying it. I ended up picking it up, along with the third, when they were the free game for the month on Xbox live. I'm looking forward to the third one, as the idea of a female horseman (horsewoman?
) is pretty neat. Not sure I'm completely on board with the names of the all the horsemen, as I've always been used to War, Death, Famine, and Pestilence.
