* The next game in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat 12, was officially announced during an investor's meeting held today by Warner Bros Discovery. It was also announced that this upcoming game is currently scheduled to be released by the end of this year.

* According to a report from Eurogamer, the Ukrainian government is currently planning to send an official letter to Micorsoft, Sony, and Valve asking for the recently released Atomic Heart game to be pulled and sales banned from their online stores due to their issues with developer's Mudfish ties to the Russian government. Besides issues with Russian government ties, the game is also currently dealing with several other controversies including its handling of data collection from players, sexual exploitation and potential homophobic issues alleged to be directed towards an Ukrainian political party leader, and a racist cartoon image of an African tribal person discovered in the game.
