* Ubisoft recently clarified comments made by their CEO Yves Guillemot that teased this tear's E3 might not take place due to the high level dropouts by Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. In a statement to GamesIndustry.biz, Ubisoft stated "E3 is a special moment for our industry and we are excited to showcase our strong line-up in Los Angeles in June. We are still finalizing the details of our plans and look forward to sharing more soon.” The ESA recently stated that this year's event will still be going on as scheduled despite the high profile abscesses.

* For those interested, Blizzard recently announced that they will be holding beta tests for their upcoming Diablo IV game this March. This upcoming beta was stated to feature most of the game's first act, a level cap of 25, and most of the main and side quests will be playable from this portion of the game. It was also announced that those who pre-order the game will get early access to the closed beta from March 17-19 while the open beta will be available to everyone from March 24-26.
