Doesn’t look good for next week either. I just read a preview and you’ve got:
* Jade Cargill, Red Velvet & Leila Grey vs. Kiera Hogan, Madison Rayne and Skye Blue — the problem being the woman’s division sucks. The Jade/Kiera stuff seems a bit rushed and there is no reason to care about her new relationships.
* Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta — no one cares about Garcia, Yuta or Hager. Claudio has proven Vince right in AEW. It’s more ROH shit on AEW and the ending seems extremely predictable to me (Claudio & Yuta to go over to build Claudio and give Yuta a Pure Title match). No drama.
* A Battle Royal for a match with MJF that isn’t for the title. What a mess.
* Samoa Joe vs. Darby Allin. Joe is going to kill Allin in an attempt to make people care about him as a double champ in AEW.
* The Acclaimed defend their Tag Titles against FTR who get to have the their first straight tag team match since May now that people don’t care about them.
Fucking tremendous.
