I get you don't like The Elite, but with the little that is known, Punk isn't the one looking to win a legal situation here. He has no ground to stand on, none. I'm willing to bet the whole legal situation is revolving around TK trying to find out if he has to pay this man out or if Punk fucked up enough that TK can void the contract for cause and send Punk away with nothing.
