Thing is though, they’re obviously not “drafting” Jericho to ROH. He’d be viewed as too big of a name to not appear on AEW TV. He’d 100% still be on AEW TV even as ROH champ.
So that wouldn’t solve the problem of tying up AEW time with ROH stuff

It’s spinning their wheels because they don’t have a TV deal. The plan may be (if there is a plan) to try and use Jericho to boost ROH PPV buys so the argument can be made that there is a TV audience out there for this.
