Instead of giving him the commercially accepted standard of beauty in a valet being a tall blonde who would've been on the "eh" side of skinny, they thought they were "saddling" him with a plus-size black chick who was square in the average area of looks. But in particular, Cody's response: "I think [Sapphire] was [a rib] at first, but then she got over."

So, by not doing "Miss America", Vince unwittingly made an avatar for the everywoman because he got the idea to take the man down a few pegs.
