Oh and hot take time...
I like Eddie Kingston but I don't want him anywhere near the world title. I think AEW have actually done a good job with making the world title credible to date and I think if Eddie was having this run 5-10 years from now with a long lineage to the belt I could see him winning it and a quick drop but I have less than 0 interest in Eddie Kingston World Champion right now.
If we are doing a quick feel good win and drop within a month I would rather Darby or JB maybe even Starks with a face turn win it out of nowhere to start a long arc of "I had the belt but I wasn't good enough to keep it, now I gotta grow to have my time truly on top".
Not so hot take, can Adam Cole go away for a bit now? Please... like really please. I dont want to see the guy injured, I just dont want to see him.
- Edit - Darby for the quick win and drop... he would do a sick couple year long chase culminating in MJF losing his first title.
