What's funny to me about it is that we had shit like Nick Gage and the infamous pizza cutter right before a paid pizza spot not getting any eyebrows raised until the competition essentially narc'd on them, but then a guy doing something interesting has to be ushered away quickly.

Tony can't hire the Briscoes because of something one of the brothers said a decade ago, but almost everybody else up and down the card can be motherfuckers.

Honestly at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the network unironically pulls the "international object" card and "no gratutious violence". Not even in reference to WCW either; the suit suggesting it will think it's a totally new idea they just thought up.
