I liked O'Haire, but Vince was never going to get behind any WCW Invasion guy unless they REALLY had something.
Looking back at all of them, there were maybe 4 exceptions.
1. Booker T who came in as Champion and checked every single box.
2. DDP got a decent run after being buried throughout the entire Invasion angle, mostly because he was so well liked.
3. Chavo Guerrero because he was a Guerrero and far more entertaining than Eddie before Eddie was rehired by WWE.
4. Shane Helms - Only after he completely changed his entire gimmick and became The Hurricane
Nobody else from the initial Invasion was ever given much of a chance. Yeah O'Haire did get paired with Piper and repackaged 2 years later, but that was almost solely to fued Piper and Hogan as Mr America, along with being involved with Vince/Hogan and Vince/Zack Gowen fueds.
