I do dislike Punk, I do not need to invent new reasons to hate him, I already hate him. It is embarrassing to a company saying they want to be more like real sports, yet they are pushing the one guy who we all know would get his ass beat by any of the wrestlers being forced to job to him. And why just because he is their boss' favorite wrestler.

This dude who went 0-2, got absolutely destroyed in one with zero offense, then got toyed with so badly that the boss fired the opponent that beat him. His entire MMA Career consisted of 1 takedown. 2 fights, 1 takedown, yeah let's push THAT guy.
I don’t know why people are allergic to this take. A wrestler’s credibility is very important. Punk has definitely lost a lot of “what if” mystique by taking UFC fights and getting his ass handed to him. You have to work harder to suspend your disbelief. This makes it harder for things to work.

I know people who know Punk by the shitty horror film and don’t take him seriously because of that. What you do outside wrestling does matter.
