That’s where we’re at.
There definitely is a “cult”-like contingent of the AEW fan base, just like there was with ECW (yeah, yeah, why am I comparing?). It goes with the territory; they’re taking on the behemoth, it’s David vs. Goliath, you find it with pretty much every sport, and in many facets of life beyond. Thing is, there’s a contingent of WWE fans that are very much the same (but we don’t talk about
Bruno that so much).
The thing is, if these “AEW Tweets that ALWAYS bring up WWE” are so ubiquitous it should be really easy to use one as a starting point/further evidence to your point. But you haven’t done that. You’ve doubled down, then tried to move the discussion in a different direction. That’s what you’re taking flack for. It’s not “AEW fans closing rank”, nobody has “taken offence”, it’s your inability to go “yeah, do you know what, that tweet I used didn’t actually provide an example of what I’m talking about, bad example. Here’s a bunch that do.”
It’s very similar to what Noid does, which is why you get lumped together; seemingly always trying to have the “last word” as if that means you “win”, and a complete inability to just reflect on the
words that you have said.
