Not denying that it was a shitty thing to say, or that it shouldn't be called out. Just saying it's unfair to say he should have remembered and apologized for a decade old interview he did where he was likely so high that he didn't remember doing it the next day.
He should address it now, but he shouldn't be automatically be deleted from existence which is the main problem with cancel culture.
