I think that Tony has blown it with Andrade. When Andrade came into town he certainly had a breathe of fresh air about him and seemed to be immediately launched into the main event scene. There was a few weeks of exciting stuff with Andrade and then... Whatever he's doing now.
I don't mean to sound dramatic but I think they've blown it with him. Now he just cuts random quick inaudible backstage segments and has a TERRIBLE manager.
Maybe Flair's Darkside controversy did cost Andrade a major angle for AEW and now they are regrouping creatively for Andrade, but I feel the quick chance of having a new legit main eventer in Andrade is out the window. I'm almost at the point where I think Andrade shouldn't get resigned when negotiations come up, especially if he only signed for a year initially.
