AEW grew over last year without having to go head to head with NXT. They did not actually grow viewership because they are still down from 2 years ago when they started and were head to head with NXT.

There was roughly 1.8 Million people that watched wrestling on Wednesdays in 2019. That 8% growth from 2020 compared to 2021 is the small amount of people who now watch AEW on Wednesday instead of NXT.
