I couldn’t turn it off, mate.
It is completely off the rails from the get go but it loses any semblance of restraint by the end.
It’s jumps from being science fiction to horror by act two and by act three it’s almost Shakespearean. People will compare it to “The Wicker Man” but it’s not that straightforward.
I admire the effort but the last act was objectively mental by anyone’s standards.
