Anti-WWE bias projects a destructive nature onto them. Yeah, Vince made some shady dealings he went back on back in the day when expanding. Yeah, when he used a bunch of Mexican talent in 1997 or whenever, he didn’t really do much with it. But the WWF has had lots of fruitful business relationships in the wrestling context. Especially in recent years, where they have brought in talent from all across the world for NXT on a couple of different occasions.

You want the WWE to be this chaotic mess in even an organizational sense because it makes for a zany narrative. But it just isn’t the case that a machine like that CAN’T work with other people. It doesn’t mean they will. But it doesn’t mean they can’t. If Vince saw the value in it, then he absolutely could work with someone, especially if it hurt someone he didn’t want to work with.
