I don’t mind Cody being in prominent programs. He’s excellent.

What I didn’t like was the weekly TNT Title challenge. One of AEW’s strengths since Dynamite started was mixing their talent in and out - you’d rarely see guys wrestle two Dynamites in a row. If Cody wrestles one week, he’d probably be doing a promo the next etc

So when you set yourself up with a mandatory 15 minute Cody match every week it felt eh because AEW has a huge roster to feature.
