So what’s alleged here is that Acclaim says Heyman and his financial people duped Acclaim into lending them hundreds of thousands of dollars and agreeing to license their shitty video game. Acclaim says Heyman & Co. lied to them about their annual income projection (ECW said a $2.5 million profit, Acclaim says it was actually a $500,000 loss) and that they promised them monies that were already promised to somebody else.

All this link says though is that ECW moved to dismiss Acclaim’s complaint on a technical issue (which is a standard thing defendants try to do) and the court said no. So I can’t tell just from this link if what Acclaim alleged is true or what was the ultimate outcome of this case.

But based on what the wrestlers alleged about Heyman near the end, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was all true.
