Considering the article talks about HBO Max a lot, it must have been doing some pretty bad or well below expectation numbers to give both guys the boot.

If this was BR Live, AEW would have a bigger cause for concern since helping grow its sub base was one of the expectations TNT had for AEW, which they've done well so far.

That also means during this pandemic, two out of the five notable promotions in the US had the main advocate at a network ousted or departed. MLW being the first one.

WWE had their main advocate at NBC and USA Network ousted some time ago but that didn't hurt them at all.
