Had the series been just the first episode, it would have been among the best documentaries ever made by WWE. Had the perfect storybook ending for Taker's career and more people would have remembered the defining moment of him leaving with his hat and gear in the ring than the quality of the match itself.

The latter episodes, while good, makes it hard to feel sorry for Taker's dilemma since he's had several chances to redeem himself and go out on his own terms but stubbornly keeps learning the wrong lessons. He's like the Brett Farve of wrestling in that regards.
It is what it is though. Yes he should have retired much earlier, but the story is what it is. I guess this all leads to one final match with AJ.
