The number was up four percent from last week, but the bad news was that the 22 percent first-to-thurd hour drop in audience was the seventh biggest in the history of the show ...

The second-to-third hour drop was the second largest of all-time, trailing only a 2018 episode that had Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appearing at the end of the second hour ...

The first hour was the most-watched first hour of the show since September 30.

The three hours were:
8 p.m. 2.67 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.56 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.08 million viewers

PROGRESS originally announced their event on the 26th before WWE announced that date for their next NXT UK Takeover event. Also seems PROGRESS wasn't informed ahead of time of WWE's decision which is why they had to scramble to change their plans.

Beyond the four names we reported yesterday, PWInsider.com can exclusively also confirm that WWE has booked Brodus Clay and Ariane "Cameron" Andrew for the weekend, setting the stage for a potential reunion with current Smackdown star Naomi, who was paired with Andrew as the The Funkadactyls tag team while also linked with Clay during his time in WWE.

Clay has two developmental runs with WWE, with the second one leading to his main roster debut. He received a big push out in 2012 when he debuted as the Funkasaurus. He departed WWE in 2014, continuing to wrestle under the name Tyrus for Impact Wrestling and on the independent scene. He currently appears as a personality on FOX News' streaming FOX Nation platform. He's currently involved in a lawsuit against him and the Network for his alleged conduct towards former FOX personality Britt McHenry. He is slated to respond to that lawsuit on 3/9 after being granted an extension on responding.
Considering the serious legal issues Clay is currently dealing with, just another boneheaded decision that's going to cause them PR headaches afterwards. The other people WWE recently reached out to were JBL, Darren Young, Hornswoggle, and Santino Marella.

Sky Germany and the WWE go their separate ways

Wrestling formats will no longer be available at Sky from April. The end of the collaboration is due to a WWE decision. Sky will now add another wrestling league to the program.

Sky Deutschland and the WWE wrestling series will no longer work together. The current contract expires at the end of March. Sky Deutschland stated that it had not continued the cooperation because the important pay-per-view events that would bring the great stories within the shows to the top and also to the end were no longer separately advertised for Germany - and could not be acquired at all. As a result, only the weekly shows “Raw” and “Smackdown” were available for the period from April onwards - in fan circles these two in particular have recently been criticized more and more because of falling quality.

Both men are set to appear at The Great Philadelphia Comic Con on the same weekend as WrestleCon. It is also noted in the article that the contracts with Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho are with Barry Bloom Talent Agency and that goes over AEW and the same goes for Jon Moxley who is booked through PrimeTime Appearances.

Vickie Guerrero and David Benoit chatted about their experiences backstage in AEW. Vickie Guerrero has done commentary on AEW Dark and she told the story of how she reached out to WWE to line up talent interviews for her podcast but once they found out she was on AEW programming, the communication between the two sides stopped.

“I have the podcast now and I had asked to interview some superstars for my podcast and they found out I went to AEW and now they don’t even talk to me, and between me and you [David Benoit], let’s just put it that way — they didn’t call me for two years. I haven’t heard from them, so what did they expect me to do? Just to sit here and wait for them to call so I can do some work? I love wrestling, I love to work in the ring and if someone’s giving me an opportunity to go and show up and have some fun, then I should be able to because I’m not obligated to anybody. But you know, I saw that I pissed in their Cheerios and so be it."
