It's also sad that Drew McIntyre hasn't won a major championship since the NXT world title.

Drew is sadly a perfect example of time and place not jiving. When he first got hired, Vince pushed him until he got bored. Then, he was left to languish. He became comedic jobber fodder. He got released. He was reborn in the fire of the indies... which made WWE come a-callin' again. Looked like he was getting a rocket up his ass. Now, he's just part of the toy collection.
Kinda wish he were on his release resurgence like now. It was fine when he was helping the European wrestling renaissance, but now? The man could be a hot ticket item for AEW or NJPW or NWA. Hell, I honestly even could see him as someone who could honestly be a helpful piece of the RoH roster to slow their apparent crumbling. Instead, WWE does what WWE does, and takes any interest and excitement and momentum built either by outside circumstance or even A PUSH THEY THEMSELVES START and just let the guy become background again in short order.
