Apparently the recent data breach from the ESA was a lot larger than previously assumed. Not only did the personal info of journalists who applied to be at this year's E3 was exposed, lists containing personal info from the past two E3 expos were also exposed online.

Besides the expected class action lawsuits, the ESA is also currently looking at a potential fine of up to $20 million for violating the European Union's GDPR laws in regards to data protection and privacy.

Making things even worse for the ESA was the revelation that it wasn't just gaming journalists and Youtube personalities who had their personal data exposed. Also included in the lists were employees from big financial firms like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Chinese company Tencent.
