Captain Marvel - 8/10

It's much funnier than the previews would lead you to believe. Brie Larson is good, she and Samuel L Jackson have terrific chemistry. GOOSE is a scene stealer. Talos is a good villain. Marie/Carol the 'emotional heart' of the film. As a Marvel movie, I'd put it somewhere in the middle of the pack.
