Apparently Major League Wrestling is taking a page from the LOLTNA era of TNA/Impact with how they have been handling things since their revival. Also a page from WWE for pettiness as a company.
Besides some questionable booking affecting shows, seems their contracts might not actually be legally binding or whenever they claim someone is signed, turns out its more like a handshake agreement. Lost Rush, Shane Strickland, and now about to lose the Lucha Bros because of that reason. Only reason Lucha Bros are still in MLW is due to certain terms in their LU contracts since they never signed a real deal with MLW.
Also starting to become petty towards other companies after it was exposed their CEO has been lying about the status of certain wrestlers and plans to work with other companies. Someone managed to dig up what the going rate for a top tier MLW contract is and supposedly its $150 per show for 2 years which is why they've struggled to lock down big name indie stars.
