Firstly, I don't follow
everything that goes on anywhere. When something does come to my attention though, I don't base my thoughts and feelings on whether it was in my country or not.
Secondly, yes. I brought up the phrasing of "narrowing down" things. I don't know why that's so relevant. You are narrowing down what you care about to your country. You've admitted that. You can't possibly say you aren't at this point. Seriously. There's no level of misunderstanding that I can possibly imagine where you can say you only care about stuff that happens in your country but you're
not narrowing down what you care about to a specific part of the world. Can we at least get past this roadblock? I'm trying to have a nice conversation here but if you can't agree that you're narrowing down what you care about from the world to your own country then... My God... I don't even know where to go from here.
