Surprised this hasn't been talked about on here, but Tim Miller is off Deadpool 2, due to creative differences with Ryan Renolds. Miller apparently wanted a huge budget flashy superhero movie, while Renolds wants to keep the low key tone of the first movie. Renolds is now in serious talks with David Lietch who produced John Wick, and is attributed with much of that films awesomeness.
I'm with renolds. The tone and budget of the first film was a perfect fit for the character, and it sounds like it's in good hands with Lietch.
