True. But even with the smarks I don't think he's that over anymore. Even at recent NXT tapings, his reactions were lukewarm.
He's just not a hot enough babyface right now. Plus I don't think the plan was ever for a singles. KO Mania always sounded like they were planning to have him defend against multiple people.
