No, she was more terrible than the hypobole. Her rope running, which is wrestling 101 literally made Kelly Kelly's look to be Shawn Michaels-esque. The botches aren't "recent"; she did so more than the original Sin Cara... only Sin Cara made himself look foolish, Eva either put others in cringy positions or actually injured them. Selling is one of her stronger suits, but that's really saying a wet turd is better than hershey squirts. Any heat she can draw by intentionally playing the role of unlikable bitch was being outstripped by her actually just being... unlikeable. Or rather, unwatchable.

Yes, you are correct about the idea of dark matching her for at least a year, if not longer, to see if she starts to come along. But WWE has already proven they don't like to play the long game like they used to.

All things being fair, and my personal dislike of Eva aside, arguably the greatest Diva of all time, Trish Stratus, was a bit shit in the beginning. But she got settled in, first. She was eye candy. She was an arm charm. She got time to improve. She probably got a lot of house show matches under her belt that by amd large we don't know of. She got the time to improve. They were dead set on giving Eva the world "now", and much like their other booking, it is cart before the horse thinking. They want the result without cultivating anything. They want her heat from Total Divas to just cross over into the "main product" without thinking that being a heel on a reality show and being a heel in wrestling isn't a 1:1 transfer.

Just ask The Miz. He was one of the most hated people on TV during the heyday of all those MTV reality shows. In wrestling, he exuded "change the channel" heat. When he was hosting Divas Search and whatnot, they weren't trying to hotshot him WWE champion anytime soon, and that paid off.

Anyway, Eva is shit.
