I like Samardzija too. Very interested in seeing the kind of deal he gets this offseason. He's got great stuff but struggles with consistency. Last year seemed to be the first year where he totally "put it all together" but then he produced a clunker of a contract year.
He'll probably still get paid handsomely I'd think. David Price and Jordan Zimmermann will land the biggest deals for pitchers this offseason, but Samardzija and Scott Kazmir are in the next tier of free agents right after them in an otherwise weak free agent market for starters.
