Thought so. Just find it hard to believe that he's moving for around £10 million more than the leading scorer in the French league last year, Djibrel(sp?) Cisse.Then there's the fact that his price has gone up £20 million in the space of 1 year so i think Chelsea have been a bit hard done by, their original offer seemed good enough.
With Abrahmovich i guess it doesn't matter so much, then there's this Tiago deal which just seems pointless.I've heard Benfica want £10 million but read last week that Chelsea would buy him for 6 and then review his contribution after a year, if good then they'll keep him and pay an extra £2.5 million but if he's not needed then he'll go back to Benfica for £2 million
. If that's the case then Kenyon seems happy to waste a lot of money.
