I can understand the principle behind having one World Champion, one set of Tag Champs, one Ladies' Champ, etc. That being said, I think the company finds it hard to toggle between meaningful programs for that champion on each show without stepping on the other's toes. If the split were definitive, then I'd go ahead and create my own champion on SmackDown via rassling tournament. I'd make Randy Orton the winner of that, defeating Bray Wyatt in the finals, but he only delays the inevitable, as Bray Wyatt is my central main event heel.

I'd remove Jerry Lawler from commentary, turning heel on Dolph Ziggler and costing him his tournament match. The WWE won't sanction a match between the two, so King and Zigs (reluctantly, since he's a good man now) build to an Empty Arena Match on a WWE Network special. Also agreeing to fight at the arena are Ric Flair and Rusev (doing a "too big for the B-show" super athlete gimmick) over Flair's issues with Rusev beating him down and calling Charlotte names during a rivalry she develops with Summer Rae.

* The Miz is drafted to SmackDown, but is not invited to compete in the tournament to crown a new champion. He complains about this and finds himself confronted by Damien Sandow -- giving the Sandow vs. Miz feud a chance to develop like it never really did. The Miz ends up reforming his alliance over another self-pitying star in R-Truth. Sandow brings his best friend, Curtis Axel, to the dance. I run Axel vs. R-Truth and Sandow vs. Miz at all my house shows, with them having one of the first tag team feuds of the new SmackDown era.

* I mentioned Charlotte vs. Summer Rae, but I think Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks would also benefit from being on SmackDown. You could space out matches between those girls quite easily. Eventually they get the Women's Championship to fight over.

* Eventually I move into a SmackDown Six style program between Cesaro & Ziggler, Owens & Rusev and Jack Swagger & Apollo Crews. There's so much history between Swagger and both Cesaro and Ziggler, as well as Swagger and Rusev. Swagger taking on Apollo Crews as a partner seems random (and it is), but Crews would bring a high energy level to Swagger's act; and a lot of his offense actually reminds me of Cesaro. Could you imagine the heat if Crews is pulling off Cesaro's shit on Dolph Ziggler, as Cesaro has to watch from the apron? Jeez.
