Tropical storm Erika is currently brewing in the Caribbean and could have an impact on this weekend’s WWE live events in Florida as well as Monday’s RAW from Tampa, Florida. The storm is currently projected to peak on Monday with 75 mph winds hitting Sunshine State.

“There is growing concern that Erika will threaten Florida Sunday night into Monday,” according to AccuWeather Hurricane Expert Dan Kottlowski.

Meteorologists are expecting flash flooding and mudslides, which could have an impact on WWE RAW.
Could end up with another RAW from WWE HQ since a state of emergency was issued in Florida for the storm.

We noted before that it was rumored in Japan that women's wrestler Kana, who appeared at ringside for NXT "Takeover: Brooklyn" and was called Kanna, signed with WWE a few weeks back. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted today that Kanna indeed was signed two weeks ago.

Wednesday's episode of Ring of Honor on Destination America drew 149,000 viewers. This is up a bit from last week's 145,000 viewers. This was the fifth 11pm EST airing as the network dropped their 8pm EST airing in July.

This week's TNA Impact Wrestling on Destination America at 9pm EST drew 279,000 viewers. This is down from last week's 323,000 viewers. The midnight replay drew 83,000 viewers, up from last week's 73,000. TNA drew a total of 362,000 viewers this week, down from last week's total of 396,000.

Japanese wrestling legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger is expected to work more dates for WWE after making his debut for the company at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn this past weekend. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an unnamed wrestling promoter attempted to book Liger for a few upcoming shows in the United States but was told WWE has already booked him for those dates.

On this week’s episode of NXT, Tyler Breeze said that he’s not done with Liger, another indication that we’ll be seeing him back in NXT soon.

It’s possible that Liger will be working for WWE & NXT with a deal similar to Samoa Joe’s, where he’s still able to wrestle for other promotions (mainly New Japan Pro Wrestling).
