As much as I understand/agree with many of the advanced metrics, I liked them much more before people were insufferable douchebags about them. Ever try reading a Bill James interview? The guy has absolutely zero patience for people who don't have the same grasp on sabermetrics that he does. He actively talks down to people who even try to use traditional statistics.
Similarly, I'm pretty sure Brian Kenny (who I love) is going to murder Harold Reynolds in his sleep one of these years.
