1) According to recent rumors, Nintendo's NX console could be arriving as early as July 2016 with the company already preparing their manufacturing chains for pre-production later this year.

2) Peter Moore revealed during a recent IGN podcast episode that Microsoft boss Steve Balmer is likely the main reason why the Xbox brand is still around due to how he handled the Red Ring of Death fiasco for the Xbox 360. According to Moore, Balmer didn't hesitate on spending large sums of money on fixing defective Xbox 360 consoles (over $240 million just with shipping) and only cared about keeping customers happy.
