Likely going to be a last minute decision if the IC match is happening or not this weekend.

Bryan reportedly suffered an injury on April 9th at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland as he teamed with Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan to defeat Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett. We're not exactly sure what happened to him but there was an injury in that match that got him sent home.

When Bryan was first sent home, WWE officials expected him to be out of the ring for about a month. No word yet if that time-frame has changed but there's a chance they change Sunday's Extreme Rules match against Barrett.
The Observer's and F4W's sources ended up backtracking on a concussion being what got Bryan pulled. WWE and/or their sources aren't willing to reveal what is actually wrong with Bryan.

During last night’s episode of WWE RAW, JBL said on commentary that he does not like catering anymore during Randy Orton’s attack on Heath Slater in a backstage segment that was in catering.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes that the reason JBL said that line is because WWE has reportedly cut back on their catering budget.

WWE has put more money into Pyro for RAW, SmackDown, Main Event and PPV’s rather than catering.
Zack Ryder is going to be pissed. Maybe this leads to him snapping and turning into a badass submission machine

According to The Wrestling Observer, TNA might be launching a big international tour beginning with events in China on May 22nd, May 23rd and May 30th as part of an 11-day trip with 2 other shows outside of China.

A print ad listed those dates for the China events, featuring MVP, Gail Kim and Jeff Hardy as advertised event talents.

As of now, TNA talents are scheduled to leave The U.S. on May 20th, however the tour has yet to be confirmed or officially announced as several details have yet to be finalized.

Talk of doing a TNA China tour began months ago, however nothing was ever announced. TNA talents have been told they are currently booked for the May tour, and many of them are counting on the tour/pay as TNA has been running limited dates as of late.

At the tail end of his podcast today, he addressed the whole trademark issue with the shirts. He says he spoke with WWE's lawyers and understood where they were coming from, so there's no beef between them. Said there's some exciting stuff in the works with them but he can't talk about it right now. He ended it by reminding people to not believe everything they read on the internet.

On misconceptions about him and WWE:

“They just see what they see on TV. The misconception for me is that I’m very much what you see on television or that I’m this character… Even if you’re this huge fan of WWE, they get so upset over ‘why would this guy beat that guy.’ It’s one of the terms right now, ‘we buried him.’ It’s a show and what they don’t get about our show is that we are like this ever ending, you can compare it to whatever you want… it never ends. There’s always another chapter. They get so upset in the moment of not liking maybe the chapter they are on, there’s another chapter that starts tomorrow… They don’t get that and they can wait for that. They don’t understand all the complexities that go on behind the scenes. That’s probably the biggest misconception is that the WWE is just a bunch of guys, in its simplest form, just going to the ring in their underwear and pretending to fight each other, but when you break it down it’s a massive global business.”

Some other sheet news include:
  • RAW managed to rebound back to normal in ratings this week. Hourly decline was small but then again the 8pm hour was a bit smaller than usual. In terms of ratings and viewer averages, WWE's on track to have "road to Mania" levels of low numbers for a while (maybe whole year).
  • Newest update to Eva Marie's training status had her learning how to do springboard DDTs as a possible move for her. https://instagram.com/p/1wMWFfmzUd/
  • Based on a recent interview, Batista is open to the idea of having another run in the WWE but only for house shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXfRVfyltCg&t=136
  • According to rumors, next regular feud planned for Reigns after Big Show is Reigns vs Kane.
  • Trailer for next month's Payback ppv was leaked recently with the main event being teased as:
    SPOILER: show
    Rollins vs Orton vs Reigns
