He became a great Intercontinental Champion and then became a more conventional heel, before having an awesome face run which turned into an awesome stint with Goldust as a tag team, before they randomly lost the Tag Titles to the New Age Outlaws (presumably to make room for The Usos), got a bit lost in the shuffle, Cody got his make-over, and now they are heels.

When the split happens, or Goldust decides to retire or what have you, I think Cody might finally get the "shot" people have spoken about over the years. The timing has always felt off, but I think 2015 could be a great year for him.

Man, a feud between Cody and Bray Wyatt could lead to some very interesting promo work.

One of the great things about Cody's history is how each change came about so fluidly and was so well written that it was just completely natural. He's managed to pull each persona off, and has been able to connect with the audience. He has a great look, is great in the ring and great on the mic. I really see no reason why he can't some day shed the Stardust persona and move on to better things:

SPOILER: show
